Situated in central Illinois, McLean County is home to over 170,000 residents. The county seat and largest city is Bloomington, located at the intersection of U.S. Route 51 and Interstate 55. With two major colleges, Illinois Wesleyan University and Illinois State University, Bloomington is often called the "Education City."
