Macomb, Illinois is a city in the western part of the state, about 77 miles south of the Quad Cities. It has a population of around 20,000 and is growing quickly.
Macomb is home to Western Illinois University, which has more than 10,000 students enrolled. It also hosts a number of festivals throughout the year, including the Taste of Macomb and the McDonough County Fair.
