Conklin is a town located in the county of Broome in the U.S. state of New York. Its population at the 2010 census was 5,441 and a population density of 219 people per km². After 10 years in 2020 city had an estimated population of 5,069 inhabitants.

Conklin is a town in Broome County, New York, United States. The population was 5,170 at the 2010 census. The town is on the south border of the county and southeast of Binghamton.

The first settler arrived around 1805 near Conklin village. Conklin's early growth was due to its location at the intersection of two major roads: one running from Cayuga Lake to Cortland, and another from Binghamton to Owego. Conklin became an incorporated village in 1836. The community reincorporated as a town in 1892 after being dissolved as part of a political dispute between residents of the village and residents of nearby Kirkwood (now Kirkwood-Coeymans).

The town is known for its blueberry festivals, held annually since 1952. The festival has grown into one of the largest blueberry festivals in New York State and features arts and crafts vendors, amusement rides, games and contests, food vendors, live entertainment and more.
