Comanche County is a county located in the U.S. state of Oklahoma. As of the 2010 census, the population was 124,098 and a population density of 44 people per km². After 10 years in 2020 county had an estimated population of 121,099 inhabitants. Its county seat is Lawton. The county was created 123 years ago in 1900.

Comanche County is a county located in the U.S. state of Oklahoma. As of the 2010 census, the population was 124,098, making it the fourth-most populous county in Oklahoma. Its county seat is Lawton. The county was created in 1901 as part of Oklahoma Territory. It was named for the Comanche tribal nation. 

Comanche County has historically been one of the most important locations for paleontological research in North America because it preserves a rich fossil record dating back to the Permian Period (about 250 million years ago).

Comanche County contains two institutions of higher learning: Southeastern University, located in Lawton, and Southwestern Christian University (SWCU), located in Bethany. SWCU is associated with the Churches of Christ; its main campus is located just north of Bethany on the west side of US Highway 81 near Interstate 44 and at its intersection with State Highway 15. There are also a number of private schools located within or near Comanche County's borders including Faith Academy (a private Christian school), Grace Christian School (a private Christian school), Temple Baptist Academy (a private Baptist school), Lawton Christian Academy (a private Christian school), Blessed Hope Christian Schools .
