Alexandria, Louisiana is a beautiful city located in the center of the state. The city was founded in 1819 by explorer Pierre Laclède and named after Alexander the Great.
The city is known for its historic architecture and charming downtown area. It's also the home of Louisiana State University in Shreveport (LSU-S). The school has a student population of around 10,000.
