Windham County is a county located in the U.S. state of Connecticut. As of the 2010 census, the population was 118,428 and a population density of 227 people per km². After 10 years in 2020 county had an estimated population of 116,540 inhabitants. Its county seat is Windham. The county was created 298 years ago in 1725.
Windham County sits in the northeastern corner of Connecticut along the Rhode Island border. It is a rural county with a small population of around 114,000 as of 2020.
The county covers 533 square miles and contains several rivers and lakes. Its county seat is the town of Windham.
